Erasmus+ Days 2025 in Uzbekistan!

From 13 to 17 October, Uzbekistan actively took part in the global celebration of #ErasmusDays!

Throughout the week, a series of offline and online events were held in Tashkent, Nukus, Fergana, and Jizzakh, involving universities, students, project coordinators, and Erasmus+ alumni. These activities aimed to raise awareness of Erasmus+ opportunities, share best practices, and strengthen academic partnerships.

Day 1 – 13 October

Erasmus+ Days 2025 Opening Session
The first day of Erasmus+ Days took place online with the participation of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. The session introduced Erasmus+ opportunities for Uzbek higher education institutions and students. Presentations were delivered on the RELIEP and TEX4FUTURE CBHE projects, as well as on individual learning opportunities through the International Credit Mobility (ICM) and Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) programmes.

Day 2 – 14 October

Information Sessions and Best Practices from CBHE Projects
The second day featured multiple activities held in Nukus, Tashkent, and online.

  • At the Innovative University of Karakalpakstan (Nukus), participants discussed Erasmus+ opportunities, shared CBHE project experiences, and explored upcoming calls for proposals.

  • In Tashkent, the MatchED Expo 2025 – Erasmus+ Corner provided visitors with information on ICM and EMJM opportunities for studying in Europe.

  • Additionally, an online session titled “Building Food Science Future in Uzbekistan: ECAMPUZ Impact and Conference Info Session” was organized under the ECAMPUZ project, focusing on food science innovation and international collaboration.

Day 4 – 16 October

Erasmus+ Days in Fergana
At Fergana State University, an information session and seminar were organized focusing on the TEX4FUTURE CBHE project. The event gathered university leadership, academic staff, bachelor’s and master’s students, PhD candidates, as well as Erasmus+ project representatives.

The session presented Erasmus+ opportunities for institutions and individuals, discussed project outcomes, and highlighted the innovative practices implemented within Fergana’s universities.

Day 5 – 17 October

Erasmus+ Individual Opportunities Day
The final day concluded with an event titled “Erasmus+ Individual Opportunities Day”, held offline at Ziyo Forum (Tashkent). The information session focused on International Credit Mobility (ICM) and Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM), providing practical guidance for students and young professionals.

Participants learned about the application process, programme requirements, and success tips. Alumni shared their personal study experiences in Europe and provided useful recommendations for future applicants.
