From 9–12 September 2025, the 35th Annual Conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) gathered more than 7,000 participants from 106 countries under the theme “GO-create”.
The event featured a wide range of discussions on the future of international higher education, including Erasmus+ priorities and new opportunities for cooperation.
Key topics included:
- Shaping Erasmus+ mobility and cooperation actions for 2028–2034;
- Lump-sum management in Erasmus+ cooperation projects;
- Capacity Building in Higher Education and its link to EU external priorities;
- Strategies for successful Erasmus+ KA171 applications;
- Digitalisation and innovative approaches in Erasmus+ project management.
Representing Uzbekistan, Aziza Abdurakhmanova, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office, actively participated in the sessions and networking meetings. Her engagements with Erasmus+ project representatives and European universities created new pathways for collaboration and will contribute to developing stronger proposals and sustainable partnerships within EU-funded programmes.
Participation in EAIE 2025 marks another important step in strengthening Uzbekistan’s role in the global higher education community.
