A Seminar on International Project Development Was Held at Gulistan State University

On 23 September 2026, a seminar-training entitled “Development and Design of International Projects: Erasmus+ Opportunities” was held at Gulistan State University.

The seminar was organized at the initiative of the Syrdarya Regional Administration with the active support of the International Cooperation Department of Gulistan State University. Specialists from various organizations and higher education institutions in the Syrdarya region took part in the event.

The seminar was opened by the Rector of Gulistan State University, Mukhsin Khodjiyev, who expressed his sincere gratitude to the organizers and participants and emphasized the importance of active participation in international projects and grant programmes.

Experienced specialists in the field of international projects and grants were invited to conduct the training sessions, including Professor Jahongir Gafurov, Vice-Rector of the University of Innovative Technologies, and Mahmudjon O‘tkurov, Project Manager at the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan. The training was delivered on the basis of their extensive professional experience and practical knowledge.

During the event, participants received practical recommendations on international grant opportunities, developing project ideas and concepts, selecting international partners, preparing project applications, and developing project work plans.

The seminar was held in an active atmosphere of questions, answers, and exchange of views. Participants had the opportunity to raise issues of interest to them and receive practical guidance on international grant and project opportunities.
