“PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN” INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 2026

On 19–20 November, the international conference “Prospects for the Development of Higher Education in the Republic of Uzbekistan” and the annual scientific-educational forum “Access to Scientific Information and Publication Activity” will be held.

The event aims to facilitate the exchange of experience in higher education development, discuss advanced approaches, current trends and pressing issues, as well as encourage scientific research and publication activity.

Key topics:

• Digitalisation and artificial intelligence in higher education;
• Erasmus+ programme and projects: experience, achievements and challenges;
• International credit mobility and the implementation of learning outcomes in Uzbekistan;
• The Bologna Process and the internationalisation of higher education;
• Project activities and micro-credentials in higher education;
• Access to scientific information resources, scientometric analysis and publication activity;
• The role of libraries in improving the quality of education and scientific research.

The conference is expected to bring together higher education leaders, HEREs teams, academic staff, project coordinators, researchers, students and library specialists from Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries, as well as representatives of European and international organisations.

Format: In-person and online

Official languages: Uzbek, English and Russian

The conference and forum materials will be published in the journals “Prospects for the Development of Higher Education,” “INFOLIB” and “KUTUBXONA.UZ.”
