Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) Seminar - Day 1 Highlights

Today, 24 September, the Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) seminar titled “Integration of Education and Training in Higher Education Related to Engineering Fields” began in Qarshi within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme. The event was jointly organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and the University of Information Technologies and Management in Qarshi.
On the first day:

Key challenges and solutions for integrating education and production in Uzbekistan’s higher engineering education were discussed.

Dr. Filippo Silipigni, representative of Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, gave a lecture on the benefits of university–industry collaboration, intellectual property rights, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), drawing on European experience.

Bekhruz Nematov from Uzbekistan GTL shared the company’s approach to combining education with practical training.

Practical experiences and projects implemented at Politecnico di Milano were presented.
Tomorrow, participants will continue with the second day of the seminar, working in small groups on hands-on sessions to develop their own project ideas.
