Erasmus+ and Youth Parliament Cooperation

On August 18, 2025, a meeting was held between members of the Youth Parliament (operating under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis as a platform representing young people’s interests and supporting their initiatives) and representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting:

The opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme for young people were presented;

Ways of effectively disseminating information about the programme in cooperation with students and youth organizations were discussed;

The role of the Youth Parliament in Erasmus+ projects and international cooperation was addressed;

The expansion of young people’s participation in international mobility and capacity-building activities supported by Erasmus+ was considered.

Main areas of cooperation discussed:

Joint sessions on Erasmus+ opportunities for students;

Organization of online and offline meetings;

Wider promotion of Erasmus+ events among young people;

Participation of Erasmus+ representatives as speakers at youth events.

The meeting reached important agreements to further promote Erasmus+, engage young people in international education and cooperation, and strengthen collaboration. Going forward, Youth Parliament members will actively participate in the key events of the National Erasmus+ Office and contribute to disseminating Erasmus+ opportunities among young people.
