The III International Forum "WOMEN IN STEM" is Taking Place at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology

On February 12-13, 2025, the III International Forum "WOMEN IN STEM" is taking place under the leadership of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, "Uzkimyosanoat" Joint Stock Company, the Committee on Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Family and Gender Research Institute, the Uzbekistan Women Inventors Center, Integral University (India), and Neofit Rilski South-West University (Bulgaria). Representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan also participated in the forum's opening ceremony.

Today, the expansion of women's participation in science and technology is considered a global issue. In 2015, the United Nations declared February 11 as the "International Day of Women and Girls in Science," and within the framework of this celebration, the "Women in STEM" forum has been held regularly.

This forum brings together leading scientists, researchers, and experts from Uzbekistan and other countries to promote the involvement of women in STEM fields. The event includes scientific presentations, masterclasses by international experts, practical workshops, and motivational speeches.
