The selection results of the 2024 Call for Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education for Uzbekistan HEIs

According to the selection results of the 2024 Call for Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education 5 new CBHE projects with involvement of Uzbekistan HEIs will be funded.

There are 2 national projects (HEMUA and GREENDT), 3 regional projects involving Central Asian countries (SILKWAY, ESGCA, GDCAU).

The newly selected projects, involving 44 HEIs(among them 12 HEIs of Uzbekistan) from 11 country regions(8 regions of Uzbekistan) and 7 non-academic organisations, will contribute to development of agricultural system, textile manufacturing, transversal and sustainable skills, renewable energy, sustainable transition and societal change, bridging environmental concerns, societal needs, and good governance, green deal for Central Asian Universities.
          Twelve higher education institutions (HEIs) in Uzbekistan will be involved in five new Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects that will be funded. These institutions are:

  • Bukhara State University
  • Tashkent State Technical University named after Abu Raykhan Beruni
  • Urgench State University named after Al-Khorezmi
  • Tashkent Chemical International University
  • Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute
  • Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute
  • Fergana Polytechnic Institute
  • Central Asian University of Environment and Climate Change Studies (Green University)
  • Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
  • Bukhara State University
  • Tashkent Chemical International University
  • Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers

 

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations will be directly involved in 2 projects. The Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan will participate in the national project GREENDT on implementing environmental engineering master degrees through sustainable transition and societal change. 

We would like to congratulate the teams of 5 newly selected projects.

Two universities-newcomers to CBHE such as Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and non-public university Central Asian University of Environment and Climate Change Studies (Green University), will join Erasmus+ community of Uzbekistan.
