Three New Jean Monnet Module Projects from Uzbekistan Selected in 2025

In the 2025 call, three new Jean Monnet Module projects from Uzbekistan were selected as winners:

  1. RiskGovEU – “Strengthening Disaster Risk Governance Through EU Law”
    Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University
This project aims to deepen knowledge of disaster risk management based on European Union legislation and to develop practical skills for students through courses, a summer school, and moot court competitions.

  2. EUSUSTAIN – “Fostering EU Knowledge and Sustainability Practices in Uzbekistan”
Samarkand Branch of Tashkent State University of Economics
This module integrates the European Union’s sustainable development policies—such as the “Green Deal,” “Circular Economy,” and “Farm to Fork”—into the education process, providing students and professionals with knowledge based on EU experience.

  3. KSU-EUL – “Teaching European Union Law”
    Berdakh Karakalpak State University
The project introduces a European Union Law course into the university’s law faculty curriculum, delivering up-to-date knowledge in the native language and expanding international cooperation.

The National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan warmly congratulates these project teams and expresses confidence in their successful implementation.
