Erasmus+ Online Bologna Event on Quality Assurance and Strategic Development in Higher Education

Today, on 18 December, an online seminar titled “A Comprehensive Approach to Quality Assurance and Strategic Development: Addressing Systemic Challenges through the Alignment of Qualification Requirements and Degree Structures with the Bologna Process” was successfully held within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.

During the seminar, the following issues were discussed:

• improving quality assurance systems in higher education institutions;

• aligning educational programmes and national qualification frameworks with the principles of the Bologna Process;

• introducing modern approaches to strategic planning.

The keynote speaker of the seminar was the internationally recognized expert, Professor Ellen Hazelkorn, who shared best practices in quality assurance, institutional development, and strategic management within the European Higher Education Area. The seminar became one of the important initiatives under the Erasmus+ Programme aimed at strengthening quality, transparency, and international alignment in Uzbekistan’s higher education system.
