Strengthening Methodology and Cooperation in Education

Today, 28 August 2025, the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan held a productive meeting with the Republican Scientific-Methodical Center for the Development of Education.

The discussion focused on aligning teaching methodologies and curricula with international standards, while ensuring that higher education in Uzbekistan meets the needs of students and the labor market.

Key issues included:

Introducing innovative teaching methods and modern pedagogical approaches
Strengthening the link between education, practice, and research
Expanding international academic cooperation for teachers and researchers

Special attention was given to the role of Erasmus+ opportunities. This meeting once again showed that reforms in education are most effective when experience, innovation, and global cooperation come together.

For reference:

CBHE projects – supporting modernization and improvement of study programmes
ICM – enabling international mobility for students and staff
Jean Monnet activities – promoting research on European integration
MSCA – engaging doctoral students and researchers in global scientific collaboration

The parties agreed to continue sharing expertise, make use of Erasmus+ resources, and jointly explore ways to enhance the quality of education in Uzbekistan through international cooperation.
