HWCA: Building Climate-Resilient Water Education in Central Asia!

The Erasmus+ HWCA project (01.05.2023 – 30.04.2026) is a bold regional initiative aimed at strengthening higher education in Water Governance and Water Diplomacy across Central Asia. Coordinated by the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, this CBHE project brings together top universities from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Europe to address one of the most pressing challenges in our region—climate change and water security.
Key Goals:

Develop new MA/MSc programmes tailored to local and global needs

Introduce e-learning tools and online course platforms

Enhance academic staff capacity through EU–Central Asia collaboration

Foster regional cooperation in climate and water-related education

Improve graduate employability and green skills
