ECAMPUZ: European World Talent Camp for Uzbekistan Scientists in Food Science & Technology

The Erasmus+ ECAMPUZ project (01.01.2023 – 31.12.2025) focuses on enhancing food science education and research in Uzbekistan. It aims to update curricula, build international partnerships, and create stronger connections between universities and the food industry. The initiative directly addresses Uzbekistan’s national priority of Sustainable Growth and Jobs within the Knowledge Triangle and Innovation framework.
Key Objectives:
- Capacity building for food science teachers and researchers.
- Training talented young professionals through three consecutive talent camps (one per year).
- Hands-on research training in EU partner laboratories.
- Industry-academia collaboration to modernize food production and create new jobs.
- Sustainable networking through the establishment of:
- Cluster of Advanced Topics in Food Science & Technology (for academia-industry exchange).
- Uzbek Food Science and Technology Society (ensuring long-term impact).
