SPACECOM: Uzbekistan’s First Grant-Holding CBHE Project in Space Engineering!

The Erasmus+ SPACECOM project (15.11.2019-14.11.2023) was a groundbreaking Erasmus+ CBHE initiative, marking the first time a university from Uzbekistan led a CBHE project as a grantholder. Coordinated by Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT), this project ran from 2019 to 2023, revolutionizing higher education in space systems and communication engineering.
Key Achievements:
- Modernized curricula to align with the Bologna Process and labor market needs.
- Developed new certified courses in space systems and communication engineering.
- Introduced e-learning modules and a knowledge-sharing platform.
- Strengthened ties between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and industry.
- Partnered with 12 universities and organizations across 5 countries.
