Call for proposals 2025 is out
In 2025, EU's Erasmus+ programme will support learning exchanges abroad and cooperation partnerships in education, training, youth and sport with around €5 billion. Representing a 6.5% increase in funding compared to last year, the Commission published the Erasmus+ 2025 call for proposals yesterday.
With over 16 million participants since its launch in 1987, Erasmus+ continues to grow in demand. It also continues to expand in terms of access and inclusion for individuals with fewer opportunities. This focus aligns with the recently adopted Council recommendation on ‘Europe on the Move', which sets ambitious targets for increasing mobility and participation, especially for underrepresented groups.
In line with the priority areas outlined in the Erasmus+ programme for 2021-2027, the call will continue to support a wide range of projects focusing on promoting social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and young people's participation in democratic life.
The total budget available for Erasmus+ from 2021 to 2027 was set to €26.2 billion, complemented with some €2.2 billion from EU's external instruments. Today's call for proposals under the Erasmus+ call for 2025 follow the adoption of the 2025 work programme for the implementation of Erasmus+.
