Erasmus+ Information Session at Renaissance University
On 20 August 2026, the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan, together with Renaissance University, organized an Erasmus+ Information Session in a hybrid format, bringing together students, academic staff and university representatives interested in international education and cooperation opportunities.

The session provided participants with practical information about key Erasmus+ opportunities available for Uzbekistan, including:
- Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE)
- International Credit Mobility (ICM)
- Jean Monnet Actions (JMA)
- Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM)
- Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM)
In addition
- Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and Horizon Europe
The session began with welcome remarks from Bekzod Rozimov, Rector of Renaissance University, and Makhmudjon Utkurov, representing the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan.

During the main sessions, Khumora Yunuskhodjaeva, Project Manager at NEO Uzbekistan, introduced participants to Erasmus+ opportunities, eligibility requirements and application pathways. Particular attention was also given to Study in Europe opportunities.

An important part of the programme focused on how to develop a strong Erasmus+ project proposal. Prof. Jakhongir Gafurov, Vice-Rector of the University of Innovation Technologies, shared practical recommendations and presented best practices from the REILEAP and Text4Future projects and information about a new CBHE projects from call 2026 FOOD4FUTURE and GREENTEX projects.

The programme also included an interactive session, group photo, networking during the coffee break, and an open discussion where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify their next steps.
