Erasmus+ Information and Project Development Seminar Held at Mamun University
On October 9 of this year, an Erasmus+ Information and Project development Seminar was held at Building 4 of Mamun University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO), and members of the Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) team.
The seminar included participants from universities in the Khorezm region and nearby areas; members of the HEREs group; representatives of the Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project; and students from various universities.
There were four key speakers:
- "Erasmus+ Opportunities for Individuals and Meet and Greet Activity" – Bonu Abdusalomova, NEO Project Manager
- "Erasmus+ Opportunities for HEIs in Uzbekistan and Tips on Partner Search" – Mahmudjon Utkurov, NEO Project Manager
- "How to Develop a Strong Project Proposal" – Asiya Tureniyazova, Head of the IT Department at the Nukus Branch of TUIT, and Erasmus+ HEREs team member
- "Erasmus+ CBHE Projects Information: I2PLEDGE and INMACOM/ Best Practices" – Otabek Khodjayev, Head of the IT Department at the Urgench Branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies
The seminar provided students with information on Erasmus+ programme opportunities, offered advice on Erasmus+ opportunities for universities in Uzbekistan and partnership strategies, and gave insights on how to develop strong project proposals.
