ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL DAYS 2026: INFORMATION SEMINAR HELD AT JIZZAKH POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE

On 14 October 2026, an online information seminar dedicated to opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme was held at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute as part of Erasmus+ International Days 2026.

The main objective of the seminar was to familiarise students and higher education institution staff with international grants, academic mobility opportunities, and cooperation projects available under the Erasmus+ Programme.

During the seminar, participants were introduced to Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute's involvement in international Erasmus+ projects, including TRIGGER, REILEAP, DEBSEUz, TEX4FUTURE, and GREENDT.

Particular attention was given to the UzEcoDigiT project, selected for funding under the 2026 Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) call. The Institute's role as the grant beneficiary and overall project coordinator was highlighted, along with the project's objectives and expected outcomes. The Institute's participation as a partner institution in the FOOD4FUTURE and GreenTex projects was also presented.

The event provided detailed information about Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), International Credit Mobility (ICM), Jean Monnet Actions, Erasmus Mundus, and SPHERE, including opportunities for participation and application procedures. Particular emphasis was also placed on study opportunities in Europe and the development of international cooperation.

The seminar contributed to raising awareness of the Erasmus+ Programme among higher education representatives, strengthening international partnerships, and encouraging new cooperation initiatives.
