FINAL CONFERENCE OF ERASMUS+ CBHE –TEX4FUTURE PROJECT

On 22 September this year, an international scientific and practical conference titled “Prospects for Training Highly Qualified Specialists in Modern Mechanical Engineering and Engineering under the Conditions of Education Modernization: International Experience” was held at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.

The event served as the final conference of the international TEX4FUTURE project — “Textile Manufacturing for the Future in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan” — implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education programme.

The conference focused on such relevant topics as the modernization of engineering education, digital technologies, Industry 4.0, innovative materials, sustainable production, the circular economy, and cooperation between universities and industry.

Representatives of higher education institutions, research organizations, industrial enterprises, and businesses from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Greece, Romania, and Türkiye took part in the event.

As part of the conference, the results of the TEX4FUTURE project, modern educational programmes, specialized laboratories, and innovative equipment were presented.

The conference provided participants with a platform to exchange international experience, strengthen scientific and practical cooperation, and discuss ways to improve engineering education in line with modern requirements.
