GreenCamUz Project Promotion Session Successfully Held!
On 12 August 2026, the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan, in cooperation with Kokand University, organised an online promotion session dedicated to the Erasmus+ CBHE project GreenCamUz – Green Campus Initiative: Integrating Sustainability into Higher Education in Uzbekistan.

The session brought together more than 80 participants, including representatives of higher education institutions, academic staff, students, researchers, and others interested in sustainable higher education.
During the session, the GreenCamUz project team:
- Presented the project objectives, key activities, work packages, and expected outcomes;
- Highlighted the importance of integrating sustainability and green competencies into higher education curricula;
- Shared approaches to developing greener campuses, raising climate awareness, and promoting environmentally responsible practices within universities;
- Discussed opportunities for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and networking among higher education stakeholders.

Participants had the opportunity to learn more about green campus practices, ask questions, exchange ideas, and explore how the GreenCamUz project can contribute to the sustainable transformation of higher education in Uzbekistan.

GreenCamUz brings together sustainability, education, innovation, and international cooperation to support universities in creating greener campuses and preparing students with the skills and competencies needed for a more sustainable future.
