ERASMUS+ CBHE 2026 PROJECT SELECTION RESULTS ANNOUNCED!
The European Commission has announced the projects selected for funding under the 2026 Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) call.
This year, 180 projects have been selected for funding. The projects involve around 1,640 higher education stakeholders from 113 countries worldwide, participating as partners and coordinators.
Erasmus+ CBHE projects bring together higher education institutions from the European Union and partner countries to develop innovative curricula, introduce modern teaching and learning approaches, strengthen the capacities of academic and administrative staff, and support the modernisation of higher education systems.
The 2026 projects address a wide range of priority areas, including:
- Digital education and artificial intelligence;
- Sustainable development and climate action;
- Modernisation of health and engineering education;
- Research management and university financing;
- Entrepreneurship education and employability;
- Tackling disinformation and promoting media literacy;
Strengthening the resilience of higher education in conflict-affected regions and other key priorities.
During the 2021–2027 programming period, €613 million has been allocated under Erasmus+ to support Capacity Building in Higher Education projects, with €113 million dedicated to the 2026 call.
