UZBEKISTAN UNIVERSITIES JOIN THREE SELECTED ERASMUS MUNDUS JOINT MASTERS PROJECTS IN THE 2026 CALL!

The European Commission has announced the results of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) Call 2026. This year, 37 Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters projects and 50 Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) projects have been selected for EU funding.

We are pleased to share that three higher education institutions from Uzbekistan are participating as Associated Partners in the newly selected EMJM projects:

SMARTLight – Smart LightWave Technologies for 6G Telecom Systems

Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Karshi Branch

ME3-4S – Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy for a Sustainable Future

Tashkent State Technical University named after Abu Raykhan Beruni

CNE – Chemical Nano-Engineering

Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent

According to the official results, Uzbekistan is represented in three selected Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters projects, demonstrating the country's growing engagement in international higher education cooperation.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are prestigious international master's programmes delivered by consortia of universities from different countries. They offer students the opportunity to study in multiple countries and compete for EU-funded scholarships. Applications for the newly selected programmes are expected to open in autumn 2026, with the first student intake starting in September 2027.
