Final Conference of the Erasmus+ KA220-HED STEM Master's Programme Held in Bulgaria

From 26 to 29 June 2026, the Final Conference of the Erasmus+ KA220-HED project, "Master's Programme for Integrating Innovative STEM Strategies in Higher Education," was held at the South-West University "Neofit Rilski" in Bulgaria.

Professor Zebo Abdullayevna Babakhanova, Project Coordinator from the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, actively participated in the conference.

During the event, the consortium presented the project's key achievements, including:

• First- and second-year curricula of the Integrated STEM Master's Programme;
• An innovative digital learning platform;
• Digital educational content developed collaboratively for 36 academic courses through international partnership.

The project consortium includes:

• South-West University "Neofit Rilski" (Bulgaria)
• University of Niš (Serbia)
• Trakya University (Türkiye)
• Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology (Uzbekistan)

The final discussions concluded with an agreement to further promote the Master's programme and implement the educational process based on advanced curricula developed by the partner universities in Bulgaria and Türkiye.

The programme is designed for school teachers and graduates in the fields of natural sciences and engineering. It equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to implement modern STEM and technology education approaches, as well as to develop innovative startup projects.

In addition, the project partners agreed to jointly organize the next international scientific conference on STEM education in 2027, further strengthening academic cooperation and the sustainability of the project's outcomes.
