EU–UZBEKISTAN JOINT RESEARCH POTENTIAL FORUM SUCCESSFULLY HELD!
Today, on 12 December, the international conference “Advancing Uzbekistan’s Research Potential: EU Partnership Day” took place at the Tashkent State University of Economics. The event served as an important platform aimed at further strengthening scientific cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union.

The forum focused on expanding collaboration within the Horizon Europe programmes, developing joint research projects, enhancing researcher mobility, and supporting the integration of Uzbekistan’s scientific community into the global research ecosystem.

At the opening ceremony, the EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan, H.E. Toivo Klaar, highlighted that strategic relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union have reached a new stage in recent years. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, as well as officials of the European Commission, also delivered their remarks.
