Follow-up Seminar on STEAM integration in technical higher education

On September 16, the next Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) on the topic "Enhancing Technical Higher Education Through STEAM Integration" was held in Tashkent.

The seminar was conducted by Karina Gibert, PhD, Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya University in Spain. The team of experts on higher education reform (HEREs) of Uzbekistan also took an active part in the event.

During the event:

Strategies, opportunities, and challenges for implementing STEAM and artificial intelligence in higher education were discussed.

Participants developed their proposals using the AI Canvas methodology for innovative projects.

Based on European experience, practical examples of STEAM integration and new methods for starting academic activities were studied.
