TEX4FUTURE: Textile Manufacturing for the Future in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan

The TEX4FUTURE project (01.02.2024 – 31.01.2027) is reshaping the future of the textile and clothing sectors in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan by upgrading the capacities of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). With a total budget of €790,985, this CBHE project focuses on aligning education with industry needs through innovation, upskilling, and cross-country collaboration.

Key Objectives of TEX4FUTURE:

Establish 4 modern Textile Centres to support research, training, and innovation
Develop and test innovative curricula on topics like circular economy and new materials
Introduce practical learning schemes based on real-life industry cases
Support upskilling of academic and industry staff for future-ready expertise
Promote internationalisation strategies for HEIs in both countries
Enable student, staff, and researcher mobility across partner countries for mutual learning
