Horizon Europe 2025 Webinar Recap!

On June 25, 2025, an international online seminar titled “Horizon Europe in 2025: Research & Innovation Opportunities for Uzbekistan” was successfully held with the participation of experts from the European Commission.

Organized in collaboration with the National Erasmus+ Office at the initiative of the Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan, the event highlighted opportunities for international scientific cooperation under the Horizon Europe programme, focusing on key topics such as research support in the Critical Raw Materials area from the 2025 Work Programme, as well as the role of the European Research Council (ERC) on a global scale.

• Zora Mincheva (DG Trade and Economic Security) – Opening remarks

• Kremena Mileva (DG Research and Innovation) – International cooperation in Horizon Europe

• Daniel Cios (DG GROW) – Funding opportunities for Critical Raw Materials

• Elena Volpi (ERC) – Opportunities for international researchers through ERC

Concluded with an engaging Q&A session, this webinar aimed to strengthen research cooperation between Uzbekistan and Europe.
