International HERE Seminar: "The end of degrees? Micro-credentials, skills and employability"

Dr. Asiya Tureniyazova, a member of the Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) team of the Erasmus+ National Office in Uzbekistan, took part in the international HERE seminar held in Rabat, Morocco in 2-3 June,2025. The event brought together over 50 HERE experts and representatives of Erasmus+ National Offices from the Southern Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Western Balkans. The main focus was on the role of higher education in addressing issues related to micro-credentials, modern skills, and employability.

The theme of the seminar was highly relevant to current challenges in higher education. Key topics included:

• International practices and experiences with micro-credentials

• Bridging the gap between education and the labour market

• Policy developments and new approaches in higher education

Dr. Asiya Tureniyazova actively contributed to the discussions, sharing Uzbekistan’s experience and innovative practices in these areas.
