The training program within the framework of the UzMedEn project is being implemented at Riga Technical University of Latvia
Within the framework of the project "UzMedEn: Development of a new master's program and advanced training courses in the field of medical engineering in Uzbekistan" financed by the Erasmus+ "Capacity Building in higher education-CBHE" program of the European Union, two-week advanced training courses are planned at Riga Technical University of Latvia on the 18th of this year. started in September. The official opening ceremony of the training courses was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Latvia Kadambay Sultanov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Riga Technical University Prof. Elina Gaile-Sarkane, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Doc Ivo Vaicis, Director of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Nanotechnology Professor Jurijs Dehtjars, the academic team of the university and about 30 professors and teachers from 7 higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated. For the next two weeks, visiting professors from Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to study the advanced experience of the European Union in the field of biomedical engineering.
