"MechaUz" loyihasining oltinchi PPM uchrashuvi

From the 19th to the 23rd of June of the year, the sixth meeting of the Erasmus+ CBHE MechaUz project was held in Latvia. This time, the Latvian project partners, Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences and Liepaja University, hosted the meeting and agenda of 6 days event initiated.
According to the agenda, the first day of the event was held at Riga Technical University. The meeting has been started with a welcome speech by project coordinator Thomas Thomidis. At the meeting, special attention was paid to the analysis of the achieved results, the development of a concept for the sustainable development of the mechatronics and robotics field, the accreditation of the program established, the presentation of courses created by each Uzbek partner university, finalization of development of a new scheme of cooperation, and overview and next actions of dissemination activities, as well as the financial summary of the project’s activities.
On the second day of the event, all partners traveled to Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, Valmiera, where representatives of the host university introduced the guests to the university’s infrastructure and ongoing projects. Later, a visit to Valmiera’s development agency and maker space “Dare” was organized, where project partners got an opportunity to interact with their representatives regarding the involvement of the younger generation in scientific activities and its transformation into innovative implementation. Later on the day, all partners visited sightseeing places in Valmiera city.
On the third day of the event, All project partners traveled to Liepaja, where the event attendees had the honor of familiarizing themselves with the structure of Liepaja University, its infrastructure, and teaching methods. Later that same day, a tour of the AE Partner enterprise, which specializes in automation systems for various industries was organized. And the event concluded with a farewell dinner organized by Liepaja University.
During the event, the dates of the final conference of the project were decided to be held on October 3-7 this year in Uzbekistan, at Andijan machine-building institute and Fergana Polytechnic Institute.
