International conference "International Day of Women and Girls in Science"

Under the resolution of the UN General Assembly, in connection with the celebration of February 11 as "International Women's Day in Science" since 2016, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and several organizations in 2023 On February 11, the III international conference "Women in sustainable development: science and quality education" was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

 

Representatives of the Erasmus+ national office were invited as speakers at the event and participated in a lecture on the opportunities for women and girls to study and conduct research in EU international programs.

Aziza Abdurakhmanova, coordinator of the national office of Erasmus+, published an article entitled "Opportunities for women within the framework of the educational and scientific research program funded by the European Union" in the collection of articles within the framework of the conference.
