How to show that one’s project is useful and important in global terms? On April 19, a special training session  “Promotion and Dissemination of Erasmus+ projects" with the participation of leading international and local experts, project coordinators, and PR specialists have brought together all the ongoing and recently completed Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education projects team members in Uzbekistan to answer this question.

Opening speeches by  H.E. Charlotte Adriaen, Ambassador of the European Union in Uzbekistan, and Shakhrukh Yunusov, Head of Department for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education have emphasized the continuous demonstration of a high-level absorption capacity within the Erasmus+ Calls for proposals and enhancement of the quality of joint projects. Though there is still room for improvement and this training session on promoting educational opportunities in the EU within Erasmus+ will help to improve the capacity of Erasmus+ projects for dissemination and promotion of their activities.

“You need to understand the difference between the concepts of “providing information” and “communicating” with the audience of your project. A communication plan is a roadmap to organize your communication work according to your time, needs, and resources. Invest time in it to take effective decisions and reach your objectives. Another important point is evaluating and monitoring the activities promotion,” – has emphasized Narghiza Alikulova, Press Officer of the EU Delegation to Uzbekistan, a key speaker of the training session. Successful cases of several global CBHE projects and EU Delegations' digital promotion served as a strong example of the point.

The overall aim of the training session is to support all the Erasmus+ projects to continue their significant contribution to the overall modernisation of the higher education sector and to implement the government’s priority objectives set for the higher education system.
