Training of Trainers (ToT): European Experience in Mainstreaming Gender Equality in Education

Did you know? A new Jean Monnet Module is being implemented at Tashkent Financial Institute to enhance gender-sensitive education in Uzbekistan!

What is this project about?

This Erasmus+ initiative (2023-2026) focuses on integrating European research on gender equality into the educational system. The project will train a new generation of student trainers who will share their knowledge through peer-to-peer seminars and discussions.

What does the project do?

  • Develops and introduces gender-sensitive curricula into the educational process
  • Trains trainers (ToT) to spread awareness through interactive learning
  • Organizes seminars, conferences, and round tables on gender equality
  • Raises awareness about EU policies on gender mainstreaming and women's rights

Who benefits?

  • Students – Gain expertise in gender equality and EU policies
  • Educators – Learn methods for gender-sensitive teaching
