TAM seminar: Green Education Concepts & Strategies in Higher Education

The National Erasmus+ Office of Uzbekistan (NEO), in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation (MHESI) and the "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University ("TIIAME" NRU), is hosting a Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) on Green Education Concepts & Strategies in Higher Education.

This online event will take place on December 26-27, 2024, and is part of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. It will bring together international experts to discuss sustainability in higher education and offer insights on how universities can integrate green practices into their operations.

Highlighted topics include:

• Designing and Implementing Green Campus Initiatives, presented by Dr. Nur Orak from Marmara University, Turkey.
• Global Perspectives on Sustainability, shared by Dr. Ayaz Mammadov from Western Caspian University, Azerbaijan.
• Sustainable Campus Management, presented by Mr. Ibrokhimbek Mashrabaliev from Central Asian Green University, Uzbekistan.
• Universities’ Green Actions for the Aral Sea, led by Dr. Asiya Tureniyazova from the Nukus Branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
