Rector of TSUOS at Leiden University in the framework of the Erasmus + project
Currently, on a business trip to the University of Leiden (Netherlands) under the project of the Erasmus + program as a project manager, the rector of TSUOS G.Rikhsiyeva, held several lectures at the university, as well as negotiations in the areas of expanding mutual cooperation between TSUOS and Leiden University.
G.Rikhsiyeva gave lectures on the activities of Alisher Navoi within the framework of the Erasmus + project. She also made a presentation on the research conducted at TSUOS in recent years.
A 7-volume collection of books on the research cycle of Alsher Navoi, published at TSUOS, was transferred to the famous library of Leiden University. This library of Leiden University is the richest library in terms of the number of books on Central Asian studies.
For information, Leiden University is one of the oldest universities in Europe with over 400 years of history, founded in 1575. Such great personalities as Albert Einstein, Enrico Fermi, Rene Descartes, and Rembrandt, as well as 16 Nobel laureates, were educated at this university.
It is ranked 131st in the world in the QS rankings and 24th in the social sciences.
Since 2018, TSUOS has been collaborating with the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Leiden on the basis of Erasmus mobility projects. Within the framework of these projects, lectures were given by our orientalists Sh. Yovkochev, Sh.Kamoliddin, U.Mukhibova, S.Gulomov, K.Yakubov.
