Kick-off meeting of BERNICA project

On March 15-16, 2023, the first meeting of the Erasmus+ CBHE project "BERNICA: Building Educational and Research Capacities in Nutrition and Dietetics in Central Asia" was held at the National Medical University of Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by representatives of 9 partner universities from Austria, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as the coordinator of the Erasmus+ national office in Kazakhstan, Laura Paluanova.

2 representatives from Tashkent Medical Academy and Bukhara State Medical Institute participated.

During the meetings, the participants were presented with information about their higher education institutions. During the events, the first plans, activities, training of trainers, equipment acquisition, communication plan, internal and external monitoring, and financial issues were discussed.
