Save the Dates: EU Education Fair in Uzbekistan

9-13 October 2023, the EU Education Fair will be organized in Uzbekistan on the occasion of the European Year of Skills - 2023 and Team Europe Initiative (TEI) by the Delegation of European Union to the Republic of Uzbekistan and the EU Members States Embassies in Tashkent in cooperation with the National Erasmus+ Office.

The EU Education Fair is a highly visible presentation of education opportunities in the European Union sponsored by the EU and 27 EU Member States, as well as the role the EU plays in the reform of the higher education system in Uzbekistan.

The EU Education Fair will be launched in Tashkent on 9 October 2023 and followed by two satellite events in Samarkand and Namangan cities with the primary purpose to provide an opportunity for the Universities from the European Union to engage young people, students, and education institutions from Uzbekistan. The  EU universities could choose any option of participation in one, two, or three cities of Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports, the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction as well as local Uzbek universities will be working together and providing organizational support to the EU Education Fair. 

All Erasmus+ CBHE and ICM partners from the EU have been also invited to the Fair. The National Erasmus + Office (NEO) will provide support in the organization of contact meetings with the local universities in view of the promotion of Erasmus+ cooperation opportunities.

Please note that participation at all the events in Tashkent, Samarkand, and Namangan is free of charge. However, all participating organizations and higher education institutions will have to cover their own expenses including transportation, accommodation, visibility and promo materials, and others.
