Аннотация

This article presents a theoretical analysis of the development of artificial intelligence (AI) literacy among library professionals. In the context of the rapid advancement of AI technologies in the modern information environment, librarians are required to acquire new knowledge and skills. The study examines the essence of AI literacy, its interrelationship with digital and information literacy, and its role in library practice.

Drawing on international experience and scholarly approaches, the article explores existing conceptualizations of AI literacy and synthesizes the main directions for its development, including education and training, self-directed learning, and professional collaboration.

The purpose of the study is to develop recommendations for enhancing artificial intelligence competencies among library professionals, to systematize existing scientific views, concepts, and approaches, and to clarify the theoretical foundations for studying AI literacy among library professionals.
