This article presents the major outcomes, recommendations and impact of the Regional Information Day of the Erasmus+ Programme and the Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education, held in Astana on 21-22 May 2026, the event that brought together representatives of higher education institutions, policymakers, researchers, and international experts from across the region to discuss opportunities for academic cooperation under Erasmus+ and the transformative role of AI in teaching, learning, research, and university governance.
