SCIENTIFIC LABORATORIES FOR LIBRARY AND ARCHIVAL ACTIVITIES AS AN IMPORTANT BASIS FOR THE TRAINING OF HIGHLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL

Abstract

The importance of scientific laboratories for personnel training, especially in the field of higher education and vocational training, is extremely high. In the age of information technology and increasing data volume, a special role is assigned to scientific and educational laboratories, which allow conducting research on methods for creating the necessary information resources, improving the efficiency of data search using AI. The purpose of this article is to provide information about the importance and activities of scientific and educational laboratories in the field of library and archival activities, their functionality and development prospects. These are the first laboratories in Uzbekistan in these fields of activity, opened at the Department of Information and Library Systems of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT).
