Abstract

This paper presents the role of the Erasmus+ programme in promoting regional cooperation in higher education across Central Asian countries. The focus is on the impact of Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects, which involved universities in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, contributing significantly to the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of higher education systems in the region. The active participation of Uzbek higher education institutions in these projects and their role in strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia are also highlighted.
